“Minimalist, without forgoing attention to detail”, this was the ethos behind our latest SS20 range of swimwear. Released to coincide with the re-naming of the brand from Frankii Swim to IIXIIST, with this range we aim to take things back to basics, reaffirming the IIXIIST goal to produce reliable swim, to be kept and worn forever.

This collection sees the introduction of seven brand new styles to the IIXIIST family, as well as the reimagining of two best sellers in a new, luxuriously soft, textured fabric.

The new styles in this collection are comprised of three flattering bikini tops and four gorgeous bottoms, designed to mix and match. Keeping to the minimalist approach, each style is only available in two colourways: Ink, a true, matte black, and Coconut, a matte opaque white shade.

The Anglesea Bandeau and Apollo Bandeau are the first strapless styles in the entire IIXIIST range. Scallop cut detailing is featured on both, while the Anglesea Bandeau has a sweetheart cinch at the centre of the bust, designed to flatter all sizes. As both styles incorporate boning for support, we do recommend sizing up. Pair with the Apollo Bottoms which also feature the scalloped detail, or mix and match!

The Sorrento String Tri is a new addition to our coveted triangle bikini tops. Ultra-thin string ties and adjustable material means you have full control over the coverage and support, modest or risqué, the choice is yours! The Sorrento String Tie Bottoms and Bangalow Bottoms also feature ultra-thin string ties and adjustable coverage, the key difference being the Sorrento offers a tie on both hips, while the Bangalow features just one.

And our Director Bec’s favourite piece? The Bells Bottoms. With an elasticised hip band and adjustable front and rear, this style can provide minimum to maximum coverage. Plus, the elastic hip band means you can wear this style higher on the hips, without it cutting in.

Australian’s reading this may recognise some of the names mentioned above, as all the new SS20 styles are named after coastal locations in Australia. Bec names all her products after places or experiences.

“With this collection, I saw the opportunity to pay homage to my favourite places. No matter how far I travel, these beaches hold a special place in my heart.”

Victoria is best represented, as Bec lived there for many years and still travels back regularly (it was also the birth place of IIXIIST). Sorrento, Bells Beach, Anglesea and Apollo Bay all get a special mention in SS20. New South Wales is also represented, with the Bangalow Bottoms named after a small picturesque town just 20 minutes’ drive from Byron Bay.

Best sellers reimagined:

While we all love new, Bec attributes the success of IIXIIST to not following fleeting trends, opting instead to stay true to tried and tested cuts that are timeless and universally flattering.

For this reason, two existing best-sellers, the Tropez Tri and Baby Bralette have been updated and incorporated into SS20.

The Tropez Tri has been reimagined in Coconut, while the Baby Bralette is available in both Coconut and Ink.

As with all IIXIIST ranges, only limited stock is available. We are not mass produced, so if you’ve fallen head over heels with SS20 like we have, don’t miss out and shop now!
